Ever wonder how the incredible, modern silkscreen posters are printed? Well, there is an individual screen for each color, and when printed in order they produce the final product, which in this case is Emek's Queens of the Stone Age show October 24, 2017 at Madison Square Garden in NYC. The progression of screens for this poster is (2) Green (Emek note in the lower left ... *Note Layer 1, Yellow, Does Not Exist), (3) Gray, (3) Purple, (4) Dark Gray, (5) Black. Each sheet measures approximately 18" x 24", and they remain in flawless condition (with very bright colors), having been hand-signed, numbered and doodled by Emek in the bottom margin. As to how many of these complete sets exist-there is just this one. Quite a unique piece ... one of my favorite Emek QOTSA images, perfect for these MSG shows.
