Vintage 1950's Hurdy Gurdy w/ Dancing Monkey Music Box Toy & Box Mattel, WORKS

Up for sale is a vintage Hurdy Gurdy toy music box. Turn the crank and the monkey goes up and down. The toy is supposed to play music, but the music comes out at sluggishly. Monkey goes up and down with no problem. This piece dates to the 1950’s and the elastic band utilized to make music is probably quite worn. Not from use, but from age. The plastic has no breaks. Complete with original rope and box. Box has wear as shown in the images. Before Barbie, Mattel was a company just trying to survive. It’s a nice vintage toy. Check out the images.
