Here's a vintage Ceramic Ashtray titled BUFFER THE BOWLER. Made in Japan by Shafford. Probably 1950s or 1960s. Beautifully designed featuring a bowler throwing a ball down a lane at a bowling pin and a ball return behind him. This measures 5 3/16 x 4 1/2" x 4 1/8".I just noticed the inside corner of the front, left lip has a slight scuff. The brown paint is duller than the rest. Don't think it's a chip but a little spot that was possibly "ground" at the factory.
