This antique Waterbury Clock Co. short drop calendar oak schoolhouse wall clock is in generally very good as-found condition. The clock is functional but does not include the correct pendulum; a small bob was used to test that it runs. The movement is marked Waterbury Clock Co., appears relatively clean, and the spring is reported good. Original hands are present, and the calendar hand advances when the minute hand is rotated through a 24-hour cycle. A winding key is included. This 8-Day Calendar clock is in generally very good as found condition. Clock is functional but there is no correct pendulum. Moving the crutch back and forth activates the minute hand and it moves forward as it is supposed to. I hung a small bob on the hook and the clock did run. Rotating the minute hand through a 24 hour sequence activated the calendar hand and it advanced near the midnight hour to the next date. Movement is marked Waterbury Clock Co.; it is relatively clean and the spring is good. Hands are original. Partial bit of original label on back has the letter W. No extra holes so I believe the movement is original to the case. Measures 23-5/8" high by 17" wide by 4-1/8" deep. Painted dial is 11-1/4" in diameter. Bezel is 13" in diameter.
