Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal is all set to hit the cinemas on August 11. With just two months left for its release, Sandeep Reddy Vanga and the team released a pre-teaser video hyping the film. In the video, a blood-thirsty Ranbir Kapoor is living up to the film’s title as he is out to hunt like an animal. With an ax in his hand, the actor is seen killing a group of people. The teaser ends with a close-up shot of Ranbir’s eyes.
The short video begins with Ranbir walking in with an axe in his hand while some masked men wait for him. He is seen dressed in a white kurta and dhoti, and we just get a brief look at his face. From the look of it, Ranbir seems to be playing the role of a powerful, brutal gangster. As Ranbir fights the men single-handedly, we hear a peppy Punjabi number playing in the background.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal movie has been one of the most talked-about films ever since it was first announced and well, fans were in for a treat when director Sandeep Reddy Vanga announced the animal pre-teaser release. Last seen in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, this movie is going to be a step away for the actor from everything we’ve seen him do.

The Park Chan-wook film was released in 2003 and continues to have a major fan following. After the release of Animal’s pre-teaser, many took to Twitter and pointed out the similarities between a scene in Oldboy and the pre-teaser clip.
