Vintage, triangular shaped, beaded Kuchi textile patch from the Sulaimankhel tribal nomads. Large, heavily beaded, and colorful piece. 12.5" along the top x 10". Along with the gorgeous beaded pattern, there are also little metal baubles on all the fringe; both details make this piece rather heavy - weighs over 11 ounces. Three loops along the upper edge - visible in photos of the back. There are some stray threads, visible stitching, and signs of age and use. Handmade item from a nomadic, tribal culture of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
