Lovely antique Victorian or slightly later carnelian seal fob engraved with a family crest mounted in 15 carat gold. Clearly marked "15c" for 15 carat and what appears to be a maker's mark, possibly "Frasers". 15 carat gold was the legal standard in the United Kingdom from 1854-1931 before 14k became the legal standard. Very good antique condition. Some toning to gold. Total weight is 11 grams and the face of the carnelian measures 2.5 x 2 centimeters.
