The eagerly awaited trailer of Dream Girl 2 was released on Tuesday (August 1) by the makers on social media. Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday are working on a screen for the first time in the film. Dream Girl 2 is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures. The film is a spiritual sequel to the 2019 film Dream Girl.

The trailer has hilarious dialogues and showcases the entertaining chemistry between the lead pair. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Asrani, Annu Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh, Rajpal Yadav, Manoj Joshi, Seema Pahwa, and Vijay Raaz.
Dream Girl 2 is a sequel to the 2019 film Dream Girl, in which Ayushmann played a call center employee who speaks to callers in a female voice while pretending to be Pooja. The original film also starred Nushrat Bharucha, Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, Vijay Raaz, and Abhishek Banerjee.
In Dream Girl 2, Ayushmann not only voices Pooja but also dresses like her, adding to the confusion.
