This iconic vintage mid-century Swedish modern Egon Ostergaard teak cylinder rolltop secretary desk cabinet was made in Sweden circa 1960. The classic Scandinavian modern design has clean, minimalist lines and gentle curves. The teak wood finish is a warm medium tone with beautiful natural grain. The upper rolltop opens on three small drawers and cubby compartments over a slide-out tabletop writing surface. There are three spacious lower drawers with sculpted inset wooden handles. This versatile piece is perfect for the living room or home office and can be used as desk, dresser, storage cabinet, bar cabinet, etc. Numbered 62173 and marked with Made in Sweden label on underside.CONDITION Very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. New replacement key included. Note the key turns in the rolltop lock, but does not catch in place to lock.
