Expand Your Kit with the Digital Sound Block – Compact, Dual-Zone Percussion Pad! The Digital Sound Block by eDrumPads.com is a compact, rugged, dual-zone electronic drum pad designed to add versatile percussion triggers to your electronic drum kit. Shaped like an acoustic tone block, this pad mounts easily and plugs into any stereo trigger input via a single TRS cable.* Whether you're triggering samples, wanting some cowbell tones, or adding percussive textures — the DSB is your creative sidekick. - Get Triggered! 🔹 Dual-Zone Triggering 🔹 Compact, Tone Block Style Form Factor 🔹 Mounting Bracket Included 🔹 Plug-and-Play for Most Drum Modules* 🔹 Designed, Manufactured, and Assembled in the USA Notes on Compatibility: Roland: The following Roland modules have been found to work best using the input pad type “PDQ8S” when using a stereo cable: TD-07, TD-17, TD-27, TD-50X, V71 Other Roland modules have limited compatibility with stereo cable. Using a stereo to mono splitter is recommended. Alesis: On Alesis modules, we've had good success by making sure triggering is set to piezo/piezo, and adjusting head / rim sensitivity to your playing style. Specifically tested on DM10, but should be common across other modules. Older Alesis or ones with only mono inputs will need to use stereo to mono splitter Yamaha: Tested on a DTX502 module. Some changes to pad type and velocity curve to minimize cross-talk, but overall compatible. 2Box: Digital Sound Blocks are fully compatible eDRUMin: This a midi controller used often when triggering VST. Our Digital Sound Blocks are fully compatible. Other Modules: We are continuing to test and verify on other drum modules. We've found that using a stereo to mono splitter is most universally compatible if your module doesn't fall into one of the categories above. About Us: EDrumPads.com is a digital venture from the owner of Rhythm House Drums, a small company in the Mountains of Virginia. Originally founded over 15 years ago crafting custom hand drums like djembes, congas, and stave built drum sets. I love building drums and woodworking in general. I found myself often playing my electronic drum kit and whishing I had something that took the form of a cowbell or tone block that I utilize on my acoustic kit. As a mechatronics design engineer and drummer myself, I decided why not make one! After making a crude design and really enjoying it, I realized this is totally missing from the market. Over the course of a year or so I refined the design until I got something that is consistent in quality, robust, affordable, and just works. This is a brand new product releasing in March of 2025, and I fully stand by this digital sound block! I manufacture and assemble each one in a small shop in VA (with some help from my family). I offer a 3 year warranty (repair or replace) and am here to answer any questions or help with troubleshooting should you have issues. So check it out, let me know what you think, and don't hesitate to reach out with questions! Get Triggered!
