Fits Thompson & Sears - Made in USA Impeller shaft is brass, with tapped hole for worm gear and wrench flat. Bottom flange is made of bearing bronze for wear resistance. Replaces original aluminum shaft. This impeller shaft will NOT fit National or Kees sprinklers, see my other listings. Upper and lower bushings are machined from solid Delrin - an engineering plastic known for its strength and low friction. Includes tool to aid installation (and removal of old bushings), as well as screw and washer to replace original lower bushing retainer screw, if present. Installation tool can be used in conjunction with socket extension, metal rod, etc.. If lower bushing retainer screw is present, it will require removal in order to remove original lower bushing. The retainer screw should not be necessary - the new bushing is designed to be a press fit in the sprinkler body. A screw is still necessary to plug the threaded hole to prevent leaking - a stainless steel screw and brass washer for the purpose are included. Be sure to remove the retaining screw for the worm gear before removing the original impeller shaft. Includes cork gasket to seal hose connector, as well.
