You are buying a 1902 hand made baby sweater. This belonged to my grandmother and probably all the other kids wore this too. She was born in 1902 and I have several of her clothes, I will be listing. This was hand made but she was not sure if her mother made it or not. They were very poor, told me about putting newpapers in holes in walls in their one room shack. The pictures show this lighter than it is, it is more a dark cream color. This is a great vintage collectible. This feels like wool thread to me. My grandmother gave me a lot of her items and she saved everything. This was wrapped up in plastic when I got it and is is very intricate design. There are no stains, no rips, and I found only one very small moth holes. The edges are scalloped and I have no idea what all these different stitches are called. No one in the family wanted it so I am selling it. This is from a Smoke and pet free household. Shipping is USA only, no overseas.
