(33164) Got tired of cleaning the old knob post shafts on the brass wheel and then cleaning the screw holes so they would accept the old screws!Had some new standard posts of 4 1/4" manufactured to help us more quickly restore the old knob sets. These are sometimes good for rim locks. Spindles are the standard 1/4" for 5/16" to connect two door knobs and they come with two new brass screws with each knob post. Each spindle has threaded holes to accept the set screws from the door knobs. Check with us if you need something special, either longer or shorter, depends upon current inventory of the old ones. These are all the same size, 3 5/8" long, the most common
size we have needed over the years. The holes are drilled at on the bar to allow for adjusting for the thickness of the door.
