One of my pictures shows these scissors cutting through 2 pieces of 1/8 leather sewn together with 200Lb Dyneema thread. Those of you who know, Dyneema is 4 times stronger than Kevlar and by itself difficult with ordinary scissors, these cut all that very cleanly & with no effort. My Adler heavy leather sewing machine sews over one inch thick leather & I depend on these scissors daily for all my projects. The only mistake you might make here is not buying 2-3 pairs; when something works this well you want to share with your family, give them as gifts. I am over 6 feet tall & have big hands so these might be bigger than you expect.
