This is our basic pan and does not have hemmed or "rolled" top edges. We are offering this style as an option for those who wish to save a few more dollars. If you would rather have hemmed edges for more rigidity please see our other listings. The sides on this pan are straight. Great pan for making maple syrup. All tig welded construction from 304 stainless steel. Comes with a 3/4" npt threaded outlet. Our seams and fittings are welded in an oxygen free environment to prevent contamination and inclusions. Dark welds not only look bad but can create problems within the weld itself, especially during thermal cycling. I also have draw off valves available. Please view my other listings to see them.
