3D printed Ronchi Eyepiece for performing Ronchigram tests on telescopes for analyzing optical errors. 3D printed holder with 2 layers of microscope slide covers with a 150LPI printer encoder strip in the middle. Glass is fairly thin so be gentle when cleaning or disassembling for any reason. Nosepiece has internal baffles for some stray light suppression. Check back soon, I'll be adding a 300lpi version as well. Note: does not include a light source so cannot be used for a DPAC tests, needs a star or artificial star (I like daytime sun reflections off distant car chrome trim). Also just as a reminder the glass panes are incredibly thin (~0.15mm) so be very gentle if you clean it with a cotton swab, also if you unscrew the nosepiece, it is helpful to gently press the glass into the square recess before threading the nosepiece down as if the glass isn't indexed in the recess, the force of the nosepiece can crush and crack the glass.
