This is a very scarce 1880s or 1890s hand blown ink bottle from the National Cash Register Co of Dayton, Ohio......a unique squatty 8 sided bottle embossed N.C.R.CO DAYTON,OHIO U.S.A. (bold emb on front)....Hand blown in mold....smooth base....hand tooled ring collar....clear....odd 8 sided shape.....1 1/2"tall x 2 3/8"long.....It has a 1/2"curved crack on back base corner; no other damage. A couple spots of light inside haze, but not bad. Bottle displays real nice from the front... The National Cash Register Co was manufacturing cash registers by the mid 1880s.
