Made from 100% hypoallergenic cotton, this fabric is woven on a loom which creates raised cord, or wales, on the face of the material. The wales run horizontally, parallel to the selvedge of the fabric, each one measures 1/8 of an inch wide, and there are 9 wales per inch of fabric. Standard 9 Wale Corduroy measures 59/60 inches wide, is 0.75 millimeters thick, has a 290 GSM, weighs approximately 15.3 ounces per linear yard. To care for this fabric machine wash it and tumble dry it on a low temperature setting.
