In general, Ramshorn snails are extremely resilient, and it is extremely unlikely for them to die in normal transit times. Almost all losses have been due to long postal delays or extreme cold. On arrival, put your snails in a small glass or bowl of water (cover snails with at least an inch of water) from your aquarium, not your tap. The snails will often have air in their shells at first, causing them to float and need time to recover. Sinking food will entice them to revive faster.
