Antique French 19th C Louis XVI/Philippe Bronze Leather Lady's Desk Vanity

Fresh from a New York City estate, we have a great pleasure to offer you this gorgeous Antique 19th Century French Louis XVI / Louis Philippe Period Lady's Desk. A stunning piece of antique French workmanship, every detail is symmetrical and uniform. Top features a gold tooled green leather writing surface. On the back end there is a vanity mirror in the center, recessed between two double drawer ends, which have a bronze gallery framed display surface on the top. Below the legth of the desk is a long drawer for storage. Desk is made out of mahogany, inlaid with bronze bands, all original bronze hardware and leather. Good condition, showing less than expected age / use wear (please see photos). Size is great for a house or an apartment at 45" tall, 31" wide, and 19.75" deep, while the writing surface is 26" height and knee clearance is 23.5" height.
