700R4 4L60 4L60E Transmission HI-PERFORMANCE 2-4 Band Servo Kit fits all 700R4/4L60 Models 1982-1993The TransGo 7-2P Corvette servo piston assembly fits 1982 to 2015 General Motors vehicles equipped with 700R4, 4L60/E, 4L65E and 4L70E automatic transmissions. From the factory, the 700R4 and 4L60E transmissions were equipped with 4 different servo sizes based on application. The Corvette-type piston was primarily found in the tuned, port-injected Corvette as well as the high performance Camaro and Firebird.Features and benefits:The TransGo 7-2P servo has the largest 2nd apply surface area of all the original equipment servos. Consequently, this servo provides a shorter, firmer 1-2 shift and with an increased apply area, provides the 2-4 band greater torque capacity in second gear only. Furthermore, the differential area between the band apply area and the release side of the servo piston alters the 3-4 clutch accumulation rate making the 2-3 shift firmer.
