Here we have a Vintage 1950's Exquisite, One of a Kind Designer Martin Van Schaak New York Lizard Leather Evening Bag Purse.He designed luxury, one of a kind handbags for elite clientele, including celebrities, Jacqueline Kennedy, Nancy Reagan, and many others; and greatly influenced designers like Judith Lieber. They were not sold in stores, but custom designed for his clients. It is said that his bags were adorned with Ciner Jewels. They are highly sought after and are auctioned with the likes of LV and Chanell. This is preowned in good vintage condition. It does have some slight wear to the edge of the edge of one of the 3 straps. A couple of faint spots on the bottoms/corners. Please see the close up pictures for a more accurate description. This features a lizard leather material in an eggshell

color with gold metallic leather triple straps, brass hardware clasp and Ciner (?) gold-toned jewelry adornment with rhinestones. It looks to be in the shape of a fish or dolphin. It has multi compartments and is stamped inside with the 'Martin Van Schaak New York' label.
